I knew this was going to happen.
All those people with their clipboards and their voter registration forms, eagerly signing people up.
Only some of them were taking those filled-out forms and throwing them away.
Apparently, somebody thought it was in their interest to prevent people from registering to vote.
I wonder who that could be . . . .

Yes, I'm sure. I've been voting in this district since 1990.
My husband hasn't voted at all in that time, but two months ago he got the
mail and came and presented me with his registration card. So there's one
good thing come out of this presidency. I can't think of any others. Yet
I know many people, not normally stupid people either, who will vote for
That Man in the White House out of faith and because they want his way of
doing things to be the right way. Faith sucks, I'm sorry.

I have repeatedly been pestered by people who know that I haven't voted
yet, and tell me that if I vote, they'll quit harrassing me. And that
("harrassing") is the word *they* used. Shouldn't this be illegal? Isn't voting
a private thing? Well, not in Oregon. If I had an abusive husband, he'd be
filling out the ballot, and telling me where to sign. What ever happened to MY
voting rights?
Rant, rave, etc.
